Great machine, brought on behalf of an 80-year-old to use. We tried it out with crumpets first they tasted great. Uses it multiple times a day some days. Really useful that you can use both sides or just one at a time with the divider. She’s just learned how to set different temperatures for both sides and so they are ready at the same time. Would have been 5 stars, but it said it would come with a large mesh tray, which it didn’t, and going between both Breville and Amazon, both passed responsibility onto the other, so I never received it. It’s not noisy; things cook well. Pretty easy to clean. As it’s made of stainless steel, I’d say it’s definitely built to last. Looks great. I think I paid £129 at the time. I would definitely buy one myself, as it’s very multifunctional for the price. This was, however, the second one; the first one arrived with the box covered in dents, so I sent it back, and they sent a replacement, which, as I’ve said, is great.

The Breville Halo Flexi has outperformed the two air fryers we’ve owned previously, chiefly because it cooks markedly faster. That speed isn’t just a gimmick; it genuinely shortens the turnaround on weekday meals, especially when using the French fries setting, which produces reliable results without hovering over it.

Its versatility is one of its strengths. The grill, air fry and manual modes cover most everyday cooking needs without forcing you into rigid presets. More importantly, the split-compartment design is properly thought through. The divider is symmetrical, meaning you don’t waste time fiddling with orientation, and switching between full-space and dual-zone cooking is uncomplicated. Some manufacturers include token accessories that only work for one mode, but Breville actually provides enough trays and baskets for both full and split operation.

Ease of use is where this model noticeably improves on typical mid-range competitors. Running different temperatures or functions in each compartment is intuitive rather than a chore, something that many “dual zone” units fail to deliver. The touch panel is responsive — an area where our last unit was a constant irritation — and the interface avoids unnecessary visual clutter.

A small but sensible detail is the interior light behaviour. It switches off after a few seconds, which is better for energy use and prevents early bulb failure. You can tap the light button whenever you need to check on progress, a far more practical approach than leaving it blazing throughout the cook cycle.

There’s no single revolutionary feature here, but the sum of the parts makes it a very competent, well-designed air fryer that improves on everyday annoyances found in cheaper models. I recommend it.

So Far Brilliant. I had a top Ninja until recently. Lots of problems and parts unobtainable.
This Breville is a far better design and for less than half the cost. The food can be cooked in lots of different ways so you can cook it how you like and not half burned and half raw like the Ninja.
The food is also cooked to perfection.
Troublesome food like thick burgers, home made chips and battered fish are cooked exact with no burnt bits. The food isnt dried out either.
Only a few weeks so far but I cannot fault this machine.

This was delivered today and I immediately tried it out. Absolutely brilliant. I have been wanting an air fryer that had doors that pulled down and not just a drawer you pull out that can be heavy. It makes it so much easier. Especially if you have any disabilities/medical issues with your hands which I don’t but can see how it would absolutely help.
I have to say, this one is fast to cook, quiet and just exceeded my expectations. I got mine for cheaper than full price as I went for a “like new”. Came sealed and unopened. Nothing touched on it. Absolutely perfect. So basically new.
I have had a few (understatement lol) air fryers Inc ninja and honestly, this is on par with them. I love all the plates, etc you he with it. Which with other models you don’t get. Honestly, well worth the money and still more affordable than most on the market. I’m glad I went with the reviews on this one as they are spot on. So I highly recommend this one over others for sure. I am not disappointed.
