Great price for a functional dishwasher. The only gripes i have is the lack of guidance for the placement of the cutlery basket. After weeks of trial and error I found that putting it on the lower tray, towards the back on the right hand side. No more wobble.

I’m happy with this new Hotpoint dishwasher. It replaced the only other (Hotpoint) dishwasher I’ve ever had. I had my last Hotpoint dishwasher since some point between 1989 to1992 can’t quite remember exactly. Couldn’t believe my last one lasted so long. And it was still working but the programming dial had become faulty on Christmas Eve 2025.
I bought Hotpoint again as this brand seems incredible for longevity. I had a Hotpoint cooker that lasted 25 years before I had to replace it a few years ago (with another Hotpoint) The cooker was used every day for 25 years and only ever had a hob ring replaced.
I’m impressed that this new dishwasher does a quick 28 minutes wash but not impressed that this setting doesn’t dry. And that there’s no separate dry option.The Eco wash is 3hrs long which is a ridiculously long time. I haven’t tried any of the other programs yet.
I paid Amazin the extra £40 option to have my old one removed and taken away and the new one fitted. Well worth the extra expense as it made life simple as I’m a disabled pensioner.
The young men that did the fitting were very friendly, courteous and quick. And returned later as I was concerned and had contacted Amazon as the machine was so light that it came out from underneath the kitchen counter when the door was opened! The fitters resolved this for me, but I think this is a serious drawback.
The amount of time from order to delivery is unbelievable! I ordered Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve) 2025. The dishwasher was delivered on the Sunday 28th December. I’m so impressed I will be ordering again the same way when any other of my appliances meet their end. Well done Amazon, Absolutely brilliant!!!

A very good washer which is very easy to install. However, I did struggle a bit installing the water inlet pipe because it was a few inches away from the water inIet pipe. However, I solved this problem by swapping with the clothes washing machine inlet which was longer. The washer is super silent and does the work as expected. Dishes come out very dry. I highly recommend this washer.

The main reason for buying this dishwasher was because it is advertised as “Energy Class A”, when most others have an energy class of D or E. However, after it was delivered and installed, I was handed the documentation for the dishwasher that clearly states it is in Energy Class E.
Our old dishwasher was much easier to use due to its obvious signage, which needed no explanation and the fact you could adjust the racks, which you can’t do with the new dishwasher. Overall, we are disappointed with the dishwasher, as we were prepared to live with its lack of features due to its energy rating.
