This is my 2nd robot hoover. The first was a cheaper one which was OK, but not great. This one is a level up..

It maps our your area. It’s easy to program what rooms are called and set their cleaning priority. You can monitor on the app very easily. It just works. It could be better at the corners perhaps, but it’s ideal little run around machine.

We already has the app as we have some TPlink/tapo cameras. Can’t complain with it at all. All their stuff has been great and good price too.

I did thorough research of the options regarding robot vacuums and was prepared to spend upto £400 on obtaining a midlevel item. However, as there are so many brands and then models, I decided that before significant investment, I would look for an introductory model to see whether the idea of a robot vacuum was just a novelty that would wear off or if it provides significant assistance. Therefore, this model was at a great price for the mid level features that are available, so I would recommend it for anyone looking to decide before making the large investment. The vacuum functions and the app functionality are all satisfactory and the ability to set zones etc is intuitive. However, if your expecting to get premium vacuum/mopping function then you will need to step up, but this suffices for use on tiled floors and picking up surface dust/sand/small debris. It will not pick up items like shreds of paper or wrappers and it will get bound up with long string or thick dust (this may well be an issue for all robot vacuums). All in all it is a great beginner option and will allow you to reduce the amount of vacuuming necessary but will still require detail work to be done by yourself.

I don’t usually leave reviews at all, but with this vacuum, I had to come and leave one. Although when I first received the device, i went through some teething problems with setting it up, mainly that the mapping wasn’t great. It was cleaning the same room/parts of the room continuously without moving on. I figured this came down to me putting a dock by the side of my couch between it and wall. Once i moved it to my hallway, where it has plenty of space, i found it has worked amazingly. The app i find to be easy to use and intuitive enough. As a self-proclaimed neat freak, i wasn’t expecting much and expected to go over it again with a handheld vacuum; however, i have been so surprised at just how great it is! The suction is amazing, some of my carpets are stubborn even with my cordless vacuum, but this little robot vacuum manages to clean up everything. I think one of my favourite features is that you can personalise how it cleans in terms of how many times you want it to go round a room. For me, this setting makes all the difference because i know it’s going through everything. I wouldn’t say everything is perfect, but I live in a 1-bed flat in London, so there’s not a whole lot of space and some things like my desk, chair and desk are tightly bound together, so I actually think it does a good job of obstacle-avoiding. The only time it’s gotten stuck is when I’ve missed a piece of wrapping paper on the floor and it gets tangled in it, which is understandable, as the same would happen with a handheld vacuum. Something I was worried about, which was my primary reason for getting this, was how it handles hair, and it works perfectly. I have a strong dislike for hair strands anywhere in my house, so sending the robot vacuum through the house every 2/3 nights or so has been great, and I haven’t had any issues with suction. It leaves everything looking CLEA,N which i love.

The mopping function I find to be really good too, I use the ‘Room’ function on the app to set up routines so it mops my hallway, then my bathroom. My floors look really clean throughout the week, and not having to do mini-cleans every 2/3 days has been a huge game-changer. By no means do I think this can replace a deep clean, especially since you can’t put floor cleaning liquids into the tank (as advised!), but I think it fills in the gaps between the weekend cleans for me, which is amazing.

The only two downsides, which I don’t think is worth rating it down for, given the amazing value you get for such a low price range for this type of tech, is that it doesn’t come with replacements for the mop, so you only have one. Finding replacements I didn’t feel was super easy as there’s none on the official Tapo website and most on Amazon have poor ratings, but I managed to find a set which gave extra mop clothes, bag replacements, and an additional brush all for around £9.99, which is decent. The second downside is that it sometimes isn’t the brightest when it comes to getting itself back to the docking station. I would say about 70% of the time it’s been fine if I just leave it and walk away; however, sometimes I can see it going in the opposite direction of the dock and spinning around looking for it, even if it was right next to it in the first place. A few times, I’ve had to pick it and put it back myself, but I don’t mind that, given the price I paid, I think they’ve done a good job with what they’ve built. I can imagine if you paid £500+ for one, you would have better sensors etc but this does just fine for the price.

Overall, i love it, would and have recommended it to my family and friends!

Después de varios días probando este robot aspirador y conociendo la app, he de decir que es una maravilla. Tengo dos gatos en casa y una hija y tenía que estar limpiando constantemente, por lo que me ha cambiado la vida.

Es muy fácil de instalar y configurar, me ha costado unos minutos nada más. Luego te mapea toda la casa y lo hace muy bien. Tú puedes ayudarlo y mejorar el mapa añadiendo muebles y obstáculos.

Una vez configurado todo el mapa es tan sencillo como ponerlo a limpiar. Puedes escoger entre toda la casa o bien por habitaciones o zonas. La verdad que limpia todas las zonas sin dejarse nada y en la app puedes ver todo el recorrido, además, no es muy ruidoso.

También tiene la opción de fregar. Hay que llenar el tanque de agua y poner la mopa y listo! Y aunque es un fregado suave y solo con agua deja el suelo muy bien.

Lo mejor es personalizar la limpieza, le dices que te aspire la habitación y que te fregué los baños y lo hace rápido y sin rechistar, mucho más obediente que mi hija. Vamos que debería haberlo comprado hace años.

También viene con la base de carga y vaciado automático. Por lo que una vez que acaba, se vuelve a su base y vacía todo el contenido en la bolsa. (momento en el que hace bastante ruido). La bolsa no se cuantos días aguanta, pero por ahora lleva unos días limpiando y aún no se ha llenado.

En definitiva, una de las mejores compras que he hecho.
