The Lubluelu SL68 LiDAR Robot Vacuum is a feature-packed and well-designed little powerhouse! I picked it up to keep my hardwood floors in the kitchen and living room clean with daily runs, and it does that job really well—the suction is solid and keeps dust and dirt under control. The initial LiDAR mapping was impressive; it quickly scanned the entire floor and mapped out furniture and zones. I especially love being able to designate specific zones for targeted cleaning. The app has been reliable and easy to use—no issues there.

The vacuuming is definitely the star of the show, and while the mopping feature is good, it didn’t blow me away. For my needs, it might’ve been more practical to get separate vac and mop bots rather than having to clean and dry out the shared dustbin each time. Still, the combined functionality is convenient for those who want an all-in-one solution. Battery life is great, and yes, it talks a lot—which adds a little charm, even if I’m still not sure if it once told me to “stop talking” or “stopped mopping.” Overall, it’s a great performer, especially for vacuuming. A strong 4/5 and definitely worth considering!

I know robot was in the name but I was honestly very impressed with how smart this vacuum was.

I am the type of person that shys away from overly complicated tech but with my husband and I working a ton a robot vacuum was something I really wanted to try and keep the main floor clean, and let me tell you I am so happy to have this! Via the Home Life App I can easily vacuum from my desk at work while monitoring its path and progression. The floors can be cleaned as a last step at night when I go to bed. It is everything and more of what I wanted it to be.

    Setup:
Thankfully this was super easy. The box comes with an included large card that breaks down a good overview of how to set up and use. I was able to set up and link the robot vacuum in 20 mins or so(after allowing it to charge).

The most impressive part of the whole set up was watching the robot vacuum map my home. Included is the video of when it first set out. Picture 3 is the map it made, picture 2 is its path when I placed back chairs and other obstacles I cleared for the initial mapping.
On that note, I would suggest removing chairs or non fixed obstacles on the initial mapping period as you may want that area cleaned in the future. The robot vacuum actually does a decent job of navigating under chairs now. It’s only gotten stuck once and I did a notification when that happened. If you pull your chairs out a bit and allow some space it can eventually find its way out and still do a decent under the table clean.

I also have a decent drop off from the map onto a landing of sorts. In the units set up I placed a box for a barrier so the map has kept the robot from going off, however you can also set up a virtual barrier for the vacuum and it has not fallen off the edge once which is very impressive.

Mopping is not an option I’ve tried yet as my floor has mixed carpets and wood flooring. I imagine settting up a few barriers could help with that so I will update once I sort that out.

Another fantastic option with this robot vacuum that you don’t see in every model is the option to create and use multiple maps which means I can not only have multiple floors it cleans but also I can set up(eventually) a mop friendly map as well.

This thing works great provided you have a living space that meets a couple of important requirements.
    1. You need to keep things off of the floor, so if you have small children (or grown husbands) who have a habit of leaving things on the floor you will need to train them to better pickup after themselves.
    2. You need to avoid moving big pieces of furniture around too much. The robot gets confused when the ottoman is moved 2 feet from its last position. This applies more to things the robot can’t go under like ottomans and couches.
    3. You need to avoid having a lot of chairs packed into a small space.
    4. Having doors at the entrance to any stairs that go down (and keeping them closed).
Of these the first and second are probably the most important since you can use the software on the app to designate no-go zones to tell the vacuum to avoid the stairs and chairs.
The robot really is as easy to setup and run and the instructions claim. After placing it in the charger we pressed the button and the robot drove off to learn about the home. After making a map the robot started vacuuming the house. The robot does between 500-600 sq feet per charge, although it seems to have power left before it goes to recharge so we can’t really say if that is the limit or just a result of the power management.
We found the robot struggled with the kitchen table. Our table is probably too small for the number of chairs we have packed around it and the robot really struggled to maneuver around them. The crossbars on the chairs are low enough that even through the robot does physically fit under them, we think the clearance is so tight that the robot thinks it can’t. We’ve since found that it makes more sense to have the robot skip the table area.
The robot does fine in the family room and is able to handle the coffee table being moved around since it fits under the table and just has to avoid the legs. It is less enamoured of the ottoman in the living room, which gets moved frequently and never put back in exactly the same spot. It still manages to clean the room but it takes a noticeably longer amount of time than it does cleaning the family room, which is about the same size.
The robot does just fine vacuuming on both carpet and hardwood. We haven’t had any issues with the robot scratching the hardwood. We haven’t had the courage to try the mopping functionality yet, and to be honest I’m not sure if we ever will. We are happy enough with the vacuuming. If we do try the mopping we will update.

So far so good. But the mopping is not that great. But can clean and sweep nicely.

Product description on Amazon did not give indication of large area required around docking station.
Subsequently product was not suitable for my purpose as would not auto recharge/empty.
Other than that seemed good item.

I’ve never had a robot hoover before but always wanted one, and this was a great opportunity to try it out.
I found this one easy to set up, with an easy to read step by step instruction manual on how to connect it to the app and set up the connection. Once set up, you can allow the robot hoover to map out the rooms, it’s takes a few minutes just scouting the area and adding it to your app.
The hoover efficiency is fairly good, and suitable for every day once overs. It’s not great for pet hair in carpet, but that’s to be expected so I usually use my normal hoover for the areas required for that.

The battery power is sufficient and lasts long enough for a good go around of my downstairs or upstairs area, before it takes itself back to the charging port to recharge.

I also like that this is able to get over the lips in my floor where it transitions from carpet to hatdfloor with ease. It recognises the change in floor and asks if you would like to switch to the mop.

The ability to control it manually from the app, or set time schedules is great for when you’re busy doing other chores and tasks. At 189.99 at the time of the review, I think it’s excellent value for money.

My only annoyance is that when it does the automatic updates on the system, it disconnects the device from your app and you have to go through the setting up process again. Other than that, I can’t fault it.

This robot vacuum cleaner arrived very nicely packaged in a sturdy cardboard box that also includes the cleaner’s accessories, its charging station (19V, 0.6A, 1.5m cable), a quick start guide and full instructions.

Setup is easy. You have to pull out three foam transport protection tabs, clip on the side brush and switch it on.

I already had the ‘Smart Life’ app on my phone but it can be downloaded for Apple or Android from the appropriate app store. You then press both buttons simultaneously on the cleaner, press ‘Add’ in the app and it finds the cleaner.

On first run the cleaner goes around the room(s) to find where the edges are. It then builds a map of the room which is displayed in the app. It then plots an efficient cleaning course to follow when vacuuming the room (see phone screenshot). It does make some noise but it’s much quieter than a normal vacuum cleaner.

You can set a schedule for each room on the map to be cleaned, clean specific zones, set ‘No Go’ zones or clean specific areas or whole rooms on demand.

After the cleaner is finished (or when its battery drops below 15%) the cleaner returns to its charging station and puts itself on charge.

I scheduled this to clean my office at 9:00pm (which had been fully vacuumed the day before) and after two runs I was shocked how much dust and fluff was in the collection chamber (see picture). The collection chamber simply unclips for emptying and has a built in, washable HEPA filter.

I haven’t tried the mopping function for hard floors yet so I can’t comment on it.

I’m very impressed with the efficiency of this little cleaner. It’s easy to set up, cleans well and the app functions as it should. At £189.99 I thought it was a bit on the expensive side and was going to remove a star because of this but at its current price of £124.96 it’s well worth it so it gets 5 stars.

Absolutely fabulous little thing, i wouldn’t be with out it, having a German shepherd the tumble hair weed is so bad, but this has changed my life

I have never owned a robotic vacuum before. I became interested in it because my cats are spending more and more time in my room lately. I love their cuddles but more visit time also means more loose fur and pieces of litter spreading around. I am not crazy about that aspect. I thought this little robot might help me keep the problem under control with a bit less work than I normally have to do. It is not hard to set up but does take a little bit of time to charge before it’s ready for action. I also needed to download the Home Life App in order to map out the routes this thing needs to take to keep things well vacuumed. Again, this was not terribly difficult, just took a little time. I have only done the one map of my bedroom so far. The vendor/manufacturer promises that it will sweep, mop and vacuum all at once. I have to say it does do a decent job of keeping my bedroom floor clean. I have vinyl flooring so it is able to use all three features with ease. The cats certainly took a while to get used to it but now all is peaceful in my domain. Overall I do recommend the purchase of this product. It seems to work quite well. You can also make maps for multiple rooms and even link them all together. I just don’t have the patience or attention span to do that much programming on the app lol.

The hoover is sturdy, strong and full of character 😊

Hoovering: tackles dust, grit, sand, dirt, pet hair, crumbs…whatever needed within reason. 5/5

Mopping: Again, within reason. It wont beat manually doing the mopping but if the floor is clean to relatively clean to begin with, the mop function wipes it nicely and polishes it. 5/5

    Noise: No problem. 5/5

    Navigation/mapping: Absolutely spot on 5/5

    Tangles: none
    Leaks: none
    Getting stuck: none

If youre looking for a decent robot hoover, this one is a winner and at a very decent price!

The Lubluelu Robot Vacuum is a great addition to your home for maintaining or replacing vacuuming needs, I was really impressed with the quality of the robot – it’s very well made and comes with replacement parts as well in the box not to mention the extensive instructions that come in the box.

In the box you get the vacuum itself, a moping pad with a replacement pad, replacement brush head, the home base, charger and a little cutting item that I believe is to be used to remove hair etc. Following the instructions was very easy and connecting it to the app was also very easy – the app is where it maps out your locations and you can change settings for no go zones etc.

It does take a little bit for it to map out the area, once it’s done it will then start to clean and vacuum – I did really like the fact that it mops at the same time but don’t expect that it will remove stains on floors, it’s more of a maintaining the cleaning of floors instead of actually “cleaning” – one thing the tank advises is that you cannot use any type of cleaning solution in the water tank.

I did find it did a really good job of vacuuming up all the crumbs etc. on the floor as evident when emptying the bin, the biggest downfall to robot vacuums is that if you are someone who likes to leave things on the floor then this will not be ideal for you because the robot does need clear floors in order to work properly so if you have kids that leave toys, clothes etc. on the floors then you’ll have issues with it trying to vacuum those up.

I found it to be fast charging when on the home base and overall, very effective – it was quiet when operating so I would recommend it with the side note of the leaving things on the floor – make sure to take that into account before getting it.
