I just made a seeded bread with this, absolutely easy to use and mixed my dough so well. As described that it was quite quiet, and also spinning bowl really made the mixing more evenly. It’s definitely worth the price, I’m so glad that I bought it!

Pros – Lightweight and compact. Easy to move as needed. Quieter than my previous hand mixer. The bowl turns as it mixes.
But – Raising the beater and lowering is a bit clunky, it needs care to not strain the mechanical catch, and i suspect this could be a weak link. The speed dial is a gradual increment – one smooth dial to increase/decrease speed, then when you click to stop, it can click into the Pulse setting. I think as I get used to it, it will be fine. I do like being hands free while it’s mixing and that’s the main thing.

My wife was looking for a replacement for an old, clumsy and burnt mixer. She needed one that will do the job on almost daily basis as she bakes a lot of cakes but same time to be small and functional as our kitchen and workspace is really small. Guys, this one is a compact powerhouse – perfect for small kitchens & serious bakers (obviously not professional use).
Pros:
1. Dual-purpose (Stand + Hand mixer) – as can be seen in video. Super easy to remove and switch between stand and hand held positions. This is super practical & my wife loves the versatility.
2. The bowl rotates also at the same time which greatly improves both mixing speed and quality.
3. It is light and and so neat! Really leaves you space around to work on.
4. 3.5 L Stainless steel bowl which seems to be very durable and dishwasher safe. It’s large enough for a standard cake mix or a batch of 12-18 cupcakes.
5. Surprisingly punchy 650W motor, which is more powerful than most mixers in this price bracket from my research.
6. So far, works really well and my wife uses it well beyond occasional baking. It’s really a workhorse in our house.
Cons / Things to note:
1. Build wise – it’s plastic (body), but I would not expect anything else at this price bracket.
2. Safety wise, please be sure to not let your kids or even yourself play around the spinning bowl during operation. Our son got his finger jammed between the bowl and the stand. Luckily nothing major but he got quite scared.
3. It is not super quiet, although mixers rarely are in general. So if you live in UK or Ireland where walls are not exactly thick – your neighbours might get to know how often you’re eating deserts.
If you have a small kitchen but big baking ambitions and you love to have a functional device + not spend a fortune – this is probably the most logical upgrade you can make.

The feet hold the work surface very well but they also hold well to the cupboard shelf making it difficult to get out.

Packs a mighty punch for its size and price.
Have used one of these mixers for some 40 years. Great entry level function and price. Versatile and easy to use and clean. Can use as a hand mixer or in the stand. My only concern with it is that Kenwood may stop manufacturing it and I would lose my sous chef!!
