We have a stainless steel Smeg cooker. The kettle looks perfect sitting on the hob. We have a very small kitchen, this not only gives us extra worktop space but also an extra electric socket.

The kettle is fabulous like I knew it would be BUT I am so disappointed with the manufacturer for changing the S.M.E.G letters sticking out to now flat and makes it like any other flipping kettle. Ever heard the phrase “if its not broke don’t fix it”
I understand this is not a sellers problem they might even feel the same 10/10 for them but a big fat minus for smeg manufacturers

Great kettle. I prevaricated over which kettle I should buy. Don’t know why I did. The minimalist design is great. No fiddly bits to break. The handle doesn’t get hot like a few other kettles I read reviews for and the spout is easy to work and, again, doesn’t get hot. The whistle, which another reviewer has said is subtle, is what you’d expect, but I wouldn’t call it subtle. Finally, that it’s a 2.3l kettle is great too. Can sort the whole families teas and coffees for breakfast in one go.
