So disappointing. So called instruction – cartoon style pictures, not straightforward. Lack of written guidance means it is not set up or usable until it is possible to share the nightmare. Maybe i should not have replaced its predecessor Bosch which was easy to use but broken. Also, no information sent about delivery 2 days before date given and found on step next day so not a good start.
Maybe okay if I can ever set it up and use it but buyers beware of the awful so called instructions to make it work.

The touch pad does not work on mine. There is no ability for the machine or user to change temps or amounts. I have tried all the advice, from turning it off for 5 minutes to tassimo reset, It arrived damaged. I will have to send it back, if I can find someone to help me, as I am crippled and I had a stroke.
UPDATE
I have bought a second Cream coloured my way 2, and it is dead out of the box. I have had to throw them out, £200.00 down the drain. I have nobody to help me return them, so I have to throw them away. Do Not Buy one, They are junk and arrive broken. I can’t even get my money back.

The pluses. Very easy to set up and brew.
I usually buy Americans when out and about so decided to start with Kenco xl Americano pod
I have an aversion to very strong coffee but this was the strongest most bitter that I have ever tasted.
It had an excessive amount of froth on the top – around 2 cms I dug through it and removed most of it just take sure whether it had milk in it or not.
Now for your kids!
Reviews and questions here and elsewhere refer to letting children make their own drinks. Please be careful. My first taste was a mere sip but it was hot enough to scald my lips and tip of my tongue which are still sore after 2 days. Having since made two more mugfulls on the other two intensities (temperature settings) with no noticeable change in outcome. I like all hot drinks served hot but this was dangerously ridiculous
I have concluded that most probably the thermostat is faulty and have returned it for refund. It may be a one off rogue machine, but if there is one there are likely to be others

This is my fourth Tassimo Bosch coffee machine – and the only reason I’ve bought this many is because I’ve still got the expensive coffee pods left each time a machine breaks down, so I end up buying another machine on special offer! – I guess this is exactly what the manufacturer is hoping for; they seem like good offers, but just end up being false economy.
Given the number of positive reviews, I thought maybe I was just unlucky with these machines, but everyone I speak to seems to have problems with them after a while: The machines work well initially, and then after a while become useless. I normally throw them in the bin and purchase another one on offer, but I’ve now concluded that the reason these machines are so often on offer is because they’re just completely useless and are manufactured with the intention of conning the consumer into purchasing expensive coffee pods!
I should add that I follow all the operating instructions to the letter, and I only use the official descaling tablets.
This particular machine failed in less than two months! – it seems like the heating function has failed on this one, because it’s only producing cold coffee. (everything else looks fine: lights are all normal; no warning lights; I’ve descaled it properly using the official descaling tablets; there is power to the machine; the water pump is working correctly; and it ‘appears’ to deliver a proper cup of coffee – only the drinks are now coming out completely cold!!!).
I’ve finally learnt my lesson and will not be purchasing any more Tassimo Bosch machines. Despite registering the machine upon receipt of the item, I couldn’t find any warranty information on the Tassimo website, so this one is going back to Amazon who have been really helpful about it (genuinely – “Thank you Amazon”)

The pods are easy to use and being able to choose the size of cup, strength and even temperature, wonderful. It not only makes coffee but there are pods for hot chocolate and also tea. Reusable pods are easily available, so you can use your preferred ground coffee or tea.

So the plus point, the coffee is hot. The minus points, the coffee / chocolate drinks are awful. When making a latte I was expecting lots of foam, when you first at the ‘milk’ pod take a look in the glass – it’s all water! There is a small amount of foam on the top but that’s it, it’s all water. Cappuccino, it’s exactly the same, chocolate, it’s exactly the same, it’s just water. I honestly can’t understand the 5 star reviews, I like a decent coffee but what this makes is really bad, you would do better buying one of those boxed coffees! A complete waste of money & it’s going back!

The machines’ operation is easy, the taste is good ….. but I wish I had realised there’s a temperature limitation before buying it. The drinks do not boil fully so are cooler than boiling the kettle. No sooner sit down than the drink is too cold (for my liking anyway).
Tricks like adding a small amount of hot kettle water and warming the cups just defeat the object of having a machine.
Wouldn’t have bought this if I had realised it doesn’t fully boil, won’t be long before it goes in the attic.

No written instructions by Bosch just lousy picture with the product in the form of cartoons!
Product then wanted me to descale it straight away without a single use, when I had not purchased any of the tablets. The machine doesn’t clearly tell you what’s flashing and what for with instructions. You have to faff around with refilling water for specific instruction for the descaling process, in and out! You don’t know when it’s finished or if it’s still carrying on. I eventually unplugged the crap thing and went and got a coffee from a coffee shop! Cheap design, like the cheap brand!
