This is replacing my commercial Kitchen Aide that I’ve had for over 30 years. Its made a lot of cookies etc over the years, but with just two of us, I’m giving it to someone else that needs it. I purchased the Kitchen in a Box as I can pick it up with 1 hand and it has all the features I’m used to, I “love” the idea of a snap on guard lid so batter doesn’t splatter. I’ve fought my old one and after all these years never could get it stay on right. So, this is a HUGE plus for me. I can fit in under my cabinet, in my cabinet, and have all the same beaters that I’m used to! All this and I haven’t even plugged it in yet! I will add to my review when I make something. Oh I’m anxious to “toss” A salad with this one. My old one would have made it pulp, but it served my needs well as I’m sure this one will. More to come.
UPDATE: I have to brag some more about my red mixer! I fixed my salad and I put the lettuce, organic baby spinach, red kidney beans, black olives, carrots, turnips, raddishes, red bell peppers, shredded cheese and turned the mixer on low. This is the part where I forgot my fitted lid on the mixer and after I cleaned up my mess, put lid on, it gently mixed the salad like a champ. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this mixer. It gentle enough in low to stir salad and store in the plastic bowl until its gone, but it will no doubt in my mind plow through 4 cups of flour into 2 cups of different oils, plus 2 cups of different kind of sugars for my Christmas cookies. I haven’t been this excited over an appliance in years. I hurt my wrist and i could still pick the mixer with all attachments, with my non-dominant hand and put inside the cabinet. If that’s not a homemakers best friend, I don’t know what is!!!

This is a fantastic lighter weight kitchen mixer by Kitchen in the Box. Lighter than its well known competitor and weighs only 5kg, making it much easier to manoeuvre around the kitchen and also has a smaller footprint.
This mixer comes with 2 generous sized mixing bowls, one bowl matches the colour you choose and has an easy clean inner surface, the second mixing bowl in stainless steel.
The mixer also comes with a dough hook, whisk and beater. All of which I’ve used and are easy to attach to mixer.
This stand mixer comes in many attractive colours and has an easy to lift upper body to access the bowl. Also it has an included splash guard, again easy to attach.
The price of this mixer is very reasonable and well worth the cost.
I wish, I had known about this mixer earlier in my cooking and baking life!

It’s dinky! I got the 3.5ltr thinking I’ve got a 3.5ltr mixing bowl but you’ll only be able to use about half the bowl, be ok for a small cake or pancake/yorkies batter however wish I’d gone for the bigger model, max capacity is about 300mg flour with 300g liquid. However if that’s all you want it for then it’s great.
You don’t get a spatula but other attachments are good, not sure it’s big enough to be making bread but a small amount of cookie dough
Feels good quality though, I don’t bake that often so it’s perfect for us but my daughter would have loved this when she was younger as she loves baking and this would have been a perfect size for a young child and easy enough to operate, nice guard to stop any small fingers getting in there.
Only thing I don’t like is you can’t lift the top and attachment out of the way of the bowl, it’s a bit of a faff and you have to take the attachment off but it’s not too bad

We bought this to make baking a lot easier than mixing by hand.
We didn’t want a huge mixer as they take up a lot of worktop space.
When we unboxed it I thought it looked like it wasn’t going to be up to the job.
I have used it to make all sorts of baking wares from doughnuts to cakes and yes it isn’t the most powerful but for the smallish quantities of dough etc I’ve been making it works absolutely fine.
It seems well made and comes with all the attachments I need.
Time will tell how long the motor lasts, but for the money I am very happy with this mixer.
It looks great in black and is a lot smaller than I thought it would be which is perfect for having out all the time on the worktop.

Bought to replace an older, bigger model that wouldn’t fit in a new kitchen cupboard.
The body design is stylish, very similar looking to lots of other versions. The lifting mechanism is definitely sturdy! Takes a bit of practice to work out how to lift the top arm. I really like that it comes with 2 bowls, a splatter guard, plus a dough hook, bell whisk and a batter blade for cakes etc.
Batter blade doesn’t get right to the bottom of the bowl when making a small cake, so you’ll need to help it out a bit with a spatula to make sure you get an even mix. But otherwise I really like it – it’s compact, quieter than my old mixer, powerful enough to do what I need it to as an occasional baker, and having 2 bowls is really handy. Decent price too.

This is ideal for a small kitchen and for someone like myself who uses a mixer occasionally.
My purpose for buying this mixer was to mix dough for baking bread…which the dough hook attachment does very well as I only bake 500g size loaves.
The only issue is when mixing the dough there is slight movement at the joint in the arm of the mixer, but no movement when doing cake batter.
I also use the stainless steel bowl for the dough rise so saves on time and washing up.
All in all I love using this little mixer and would recommend for a first buy and smaller family use.
