Have had this mower for nearly 4 years so it’s lasted pretty well. It’s simple and easy to operate and the battery is easy to recharge and swap in and out, which is just as well as it takes two batteries to do my relatively small front and back.
It is immensely frustrating to use though: holding the handle gripped closed to keep the power going is actually quite a strain; it leaves grass clippings in clumps all over the lawn on any setting below 3; it won’t operate on the lowest setting; on height setting 2 it struggles over any uneven ground and stops.
The plastic handle has just snapped on one side so holding it in a position where it stays on is near impossible. Time for a replacement and hoping I can find something that actually gets the job done.

Perfect for a small lawn. Mine is about 8 x 6m and gets pretty wet during early spring but the mower is light enough to make that first cut. It’s narrower than my old petrol mower but does a decent job and the battery lasts for the whole cut leaving enough for the 4m by 4m lawn at the front. Time will tell how it performs in the summer but happy so far.

Fairly light Easy to use. This is a great lawn mower cut our reasonable sized lawn easily without needing a battery charge. And it comes with two batteries anyway so no problem cutting large lawns.
Very easy to use and it holds a lot of grass to so only to empties compared with about 4 on my old electric Qualcast mower.
Its simple to assemble although the handle screws look a bit delicate for the job, but if they failed it would be simple to replace them with better items from a hard ware shop. Great machine very happy so far, it has a decent width of cut and the noise lever is fine. It cut though 3 inch high grass with absolutely no problem.

The product was delivered by Amazon quickly and well packaged. Because it was heavy the lovely delivery man popped in in my garage for me. I found getting started pretty tricky. I follow written instructions better than pictures so that was a problem. Assembling was fairly easy but charging the batteries, knowing when they were fully charges and getting the machine to work all proved challenging for me! Finally I resorted to some useful (American) You Tube videos and took off. The lawnmower then worked fine. I would suggest that Greenworks have some similar videos on their website for dummies like me to refer to (clicking the big green button to see the charge, clicking the battery into place all helpful)
The battery charger lead was loose and the battery charger was replaced, sadly with the one model! However the new lead worked well on the original charger so I suppose I was lucky. The lawn mower does not like tufty bits so run over those on a high number first. It doesn’t like bumpy lawns. I had to cut the whole lawn on 3 first before I could lower the blade to 2 for a short cut. Lowering the blade is a bit tricky. All in all I wish I had replaced my old plug in Bosch with another one and saved money.

Wir haben einen 400 m^2 Garten, davon wahrscheinlich 250 m^2 Rasen. Der Rasenmäher schafft das gerade mit einem Akku, den zweiten Akku muss ich noch nicht benutzen. Das Mähen dauert 25 Minuten, wobei ich in der Zeit auch 3 mal den Fangsack ausleere.
Der Schnitt ist gut, die Schnitthöhenverstellung funktioniert. Messer sind schon vom Werk her “scharf”, damit meine ich, dass sie das Gras ohne Ausfransen schneiden.
Die Lautstärke ist OK, die modernen Mäher drehen das Messer halt sehr schnell, mein alter Wolf-Mäher von 1984 war deutlich leiser, weil er es langsamer anging. Aber es gibt lautere Mäher, ich finde diesen hier in Ordnung.
Das Laden der Akkus geht ziemlich schnell, in weniger als einer Stunde ist ein Akku voll.
Das ist kein Luxusmäher, der Holm ist nicht sehr steif und die Schnitthöhenverstellung ist einfaches Plastik, was sich beim Verstellen nicht hochwertig anfühlt. Aber im Betrieb ist der Mäher in Ordnung, und er ist wesentlich günsiger als ein Luxusmäher.

Cette petite tondeuse rechargeable est vraiment agréable à passer : elle est légère, pas trop bruyante et propose une bonne autonomie (relative à votre surface et à la hauteur de coupe). Personnellement j’ai 400m² arboré, avec 3 batteries (donc une achetée en plus du pack de la tondeuse) ça fait le boulot sans problème. Facile d’entretient, pliable à souhait, elle à trouver aisément sa place dans notre maisonnette de jardin. La qualité des plastiques est plutôt moyenne, reste à voir dans le temps. Le temps de recharge d’une batterie est relativement long, prévoir la recharge de toutes les batteries avant la tonte, sinon vous risquez d’attendre.

I today tried the lawn mower.
It was replacing a cord powered Bosch that was probably 15 years or more old.
The old Bosch is made of robust hard plastic and built like a tank.
Recently bits have started falling off the Bosch and it was becoming a pain to keep it going.
I was spending more time dealing with the broken activation control than doing the mowing.
So I decided to get a new mower.
I decided to go battery as all the reviews indicated they would save time and be easier to use.
I have no experience of battery operated mowers so I was a bit worried how it would perform.
Initially I looked at battery Bosch but then drifted to other makes that were substantially cheaper with slightly better reviews.
The Greenworks seemed popular and in the right price range so I went for it.
I was a bit concerned on arrival because it looked like one of those fragile plastic fisher-price things very young children push round to play a naff musical rendition of ‘pop goes the weasel’. Very different from the Panzer Tank Bosch that could even flatten mole hills with enough brute force.
The instructions for assembly were very poor.
I ended up watching a few you-tube videos to identify how to assemble it.
Despite looking like a kids toy it was surprisingly heavy.
I could just carry it using the handle but I wouldn’t want to for a long distance.
The grass was still a bit damp on the October day I first used it even though there had been no rain for a day and a half. The instructions say it should not be used on wet grass.
However we are in for another week of heavy rain and my bottom lawn needed doing.
It worked well.
The battery mowed the bottom lawn and did the top one as well which was very wet and long.
The flimsy looking grass collector hooked on firmly and worked.
The wheels are not as good as the wheels on the old powered Bosch.
The powered Bosch ones seem to have small tires on where as this model has just hard plastic.
I found the on/off activation a bit harder to use than my Bosch.
The power button has to be pressed and a single right hand lever depressed to run.
The Bosh had a long piece of metal across the entire bit you push that you had to keep
pressure on. The Bosch ‘depressor’ however has broken off so it no longer works no matter how much
I tape or tie it on.
I didn’t time myself precisely but I think the single battery did 30 minutes mowing in difficult conditions.
So as long as the batteries don’t lose power over time it looks like it will do the job.
It is certainly quieter than my power cord Bosch but I am confident I will find other ways of annoying the neighbours with noise early on a Sunday morning.
I bought it on an Amazon Prime Day so a healthy £60 was knocked off the allegedly normal price.

Appena arrivato e subito messo al lavoro!
Anche se interamente in plastica, che sembra essere di ottima qualità e robustezza (vedremo con l’utilizzo nel tempo), lo trovo leggero e maneggevole e perfettamente funzionante anche su erba di medio/alta altezza.
La batteria (ne ho acquistate 2) hanno una durata abbastanza limitata, diciamo utili per 100/150 mq di giardino, ma performanti dal primo all’ultimo momento, momento nel quale il tosaerba si spegne e la batteria va ricaricata; per quello utile averne due da alternare nel lavoro se insufficiente la prima.
Fondamentalmente molto pratico per sostituire il tosaerba a scoppio sempre faticoso è complicato da far partire soprattutto dopo lunghi periodi di inutilizzo; sicuramente adatto per piccoli giardini.
Amazon super come sempre con la consegna velocissima, questa volta era prevista per domani, invece arrivato con 24 ore di anticipo!!! SUPER AMAZON!
Buona qualità in relazione al prezzo (ho comunque aspettato che si abbassasse, perché nel primo periodo estivo ha avuto un impennata aumentando di oltre 50 euro in relazione al prezzo invernale, che avevo già adocchiato, aspettando metà agosto il prezzo è tornato alla sua origine calmierata)

This fold up and easy to use lawnmower is ideal for most standard lawn sizes. It was relatively straightforward getting out of the box and the attachments put together. The battery usage was minimal but the biggest benefit with this is not having to plug in and use a cord! It does a great job. Turning it on its side after using, gave me easy access to the blades to simply wipe the blades clean. As an older woman, I appreciate the use of any household item that is easy to use.
