I think the shark hoover is amazing.My carpets look like new.It picked up the hair from my Labrador and two cats with ease. Great suction. The dog hair on the sofas no problem at all . On top of that the room smells amazing afterwards.
Made easy work of the stairs not heavy.
The power cord is stiff and possibly could do with being a bit longer but not much of a problem.

That it is an amazing appliance, does what it says it does! It picked up dust through the carpet my old vacuum hadn’t. It’s light and goes round corners too. A good buy.

This machine has the flexibility and modular capability of a Dyson, the suction of a Henry and it’s very reasonably priced. It’s twice as light as my old Dyson and more compact than a Henry. I have a bit of a bad back, so I’m glad this is so light, especially when you take the base off to get up the stairs. I had an older Shark and it was a bit feeble, but this is really powerful.
The profile of the front end is quite low and narrow, which means it gets into more corners and under more things than a chunkier vacuum cleaner.
I was also pleased that all the packaging was card or paper, no plastic at all. Even the anti-odour canister came sealed in a recyclable tin can, like a portion of cat food.
I did read some independent reviews which rated this machine best overall, but it’s always a minefield buying a product like this. I’m pleased to say this was money well spent. So much so, I felt obliged to leave this review.

Another powerful shark vacuum (it’s not a hoover it’s a vacuum) suction is again very impressive, the detect function works perfect going from living room carpet onto kitchen tiles, reason for 4 ⭐️s is the flex has got to be the worst i have ever used on a vacuum, it’s like old coat hanger wire coated in hard plastic, it has no give at all and will not straighten out, trying to wrap the cable back on the vacuum when finished is a challenge, also the cable enters the vacuum on the right hand side so if like me you hold the cable in your left hand while using the vac you have to bend right over and pick it up of the floor, other than that small issue it’s another quality shark, and remember IT’S A VACUUM CLEANER NOT A HOOVER…

Working great!
I have a husky cross who sheds enough fur to make a new jumper every week! This hoover tackles it all with no issue. The chamber empties with ease. Cord length could be longer but is pretty standard. easy too use. It tries to pull itself along the carpet. Auto detection is instant and slows the rollers to protect even linolium.
A good light weight hoover.
I bought it on a deal so got even better value from this!

A little sad I know but other than my house and my first car this is possibly one of the best ‘adult purchases’ I have ever made! We have two cats that moult like its going out of fashion and a toddler that prefers her food in the carpet than on her plate, our carpets had so much fur and dirt trampled into it I thought they’d never be completely clean again!
This hoover is unreal, my carpets look almost brand new again since using it! The suction on it is unbelievable, so much so it was a work out having to push it back and forth on the carpets but the amount of dirt it takes up is unreal and it does it really quickly, my old Dyson doesn’t even come close to being anywhere near as good as this hoover.
The hoover is so much quieter than I thought it would be as well which is an added bonus for being able to use it whilst my daughter sleeps (although the pet tool add on is quite loud). It has a really long cord as well so I can get all around the living room and to the end of the kitchen without having to unplug.
I have a few little annoyances but its nothing that you cant live with:
1) The container that holds the dirt is a little small so fills up very quickly but hopefully now the carpets are so much cleaner this shouldn’t be as big a problem moving forward.
2) The container is a bit of an odd shape on the front of the hoover so doesn’t really slide all the way under the sofas but again, its just a case of moving them out of the way.
3) The suction tube that connects to the hoover that comes off to be able to move around is a little short so I found the hoover fell over whilst stretching but more just an inconvenience than anything else and you can just use the detachable wand to extend to the places you cant reach.
If you need a hoover for pet hair this is defiantly the one!
