Such a great buy. Lightweight and easy to use. Also easy to store away.

Does the job for me perfectly as I have mostly shrub like trees or bushes. It’s powerful enough to cut through decent sized stems effortlessly. During operation I use it intermittently, not triggering for long periods to avoid the motor from overheating. The battery longevity is excellent using the 18v 2.5ah which was very surprising, easy to handle as it is reasonably light weight, cuts with ease, good design that feels somewhat robust not cheaply made.
Would I recommend, yes – Perfect if you already have Ryobi tools, and some shrubs!

As usual another quality product from Ryobi. Cuts thickish branches at the 4ah battery I use lasts a very long time. I can easily trim a 10m x 1.6m hedge on a single charge and have power left to strim the edges of the lawn
old sole –
Lightweight and easy to use. Cuts privet easily and I also use it to cut back my lavender to old wood. Battery life is at around 40 mins of used on thicker stems otherwise it’s much longer. Worth the price. I have used Ryobi tools for many yours and always found them to be well made and very reliable.

As good as Ryobi always is! Brilliant reach because of the cordless design. Great safety features and super easy to use. Charges well, and the length of the blade is great for reaching across the tops as well as the sides to trim the hedge. Not too noisy. Recommended!
