This is a game changer for summer!
The machine is ridiculously easy to use with most drinks having pre-set programmes. These programmes can be adjusted though, like reducing the thickness of the slush etc..
the first thing I made was Tropicana justice, tropical flavour. I used it straight from the carton, after chilling in the fridge for a couple of hours. It already has the 6% sugar needed so no need to add anything else, in fact most fruit juices have 6 or more percent sugar and can go straight in the machine.
I selected the pre-set “slushy” programme and let it run. I didn’t fill it all the way to maximum, probably just short of half way s it was my first use.
After about 15 minutes you could see that the slush was defining ready but the beeper hadn’t gone off, in fact the beeper didn’t go off until 30 minutes. That being said, you can adjust the thickness of the slush and the next time I did the same juice I dropped the thickness down by two and it was done and perfect after 15 minutes. You can also dispense the slush before the beeper goes off if it looks ready.
As expected the slush was AMAZING! There are also loads of recipes to do in this machine, including frapes, fizz, milkshakes and cocktails so there really is something for all the family.
Now, onto cleaning and honestly, it was so easy it made me laugh!
First I filled the tank with lukewarm water and pressed the self clean button. This programme runs for about 4 minutes and at the end you dispense the water into a jug and discard.
Then I removed the tank, condensation tray and spiral thingy (not sure of the name but it’s what mixes the slush). These all just slide out, super easy and I washed them as normal in warm soapy water. You can put them in the dishwasher but honestly there’s no point. They are so easy to hand wash and the. Ready to use for the next batch!
Once I put the bits back on the machine, again simply slide in place easily, I ran through some more water on the cleaning cycle just to check it came through clear and it did! Perfect!
I can honestly say that the design of this and the ease of use is absolutely fantastic and I am completely in love with this machine. It sits on my worktop and barely a day goes by when it’s not used, lol.
The machine is very heavy so pick a spot for it in your kitchen and leave it there and then enjoy frozen everything!
Would definitely, definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed with this machine!

My mum has a ninja slushie and tbh I prefer this one. It holds more and has more functions

This machine makes proper slushies at home, it’s fantastic for all kinds of drinks, even frappes, which the kids absolutely love. It has a 2l capacity is enough for lots of servings, perfect for family use or parties in summer. It’s surprisingly quiet when running and doesn’t take up too much counter space. It has a self cleaning function too which is super useful for not having to clean the little nooks and crannies.
It has a compressor which works quickly enough, though making multiple batches is going to take a while, which requires a bit of planning ahead. The texture it produces is properly slushy rather than just crushed ice if you use enough sugar, and it works with lots of drinks cordials, fruit juices, even milk. The controls are simple and it’s easy to clean afterwards. For occasional use it’s brilliant, but if you wanted continuous slushie production you’d need a bigger machine.
