  1. Illusive Prime

Great fryer! Had to buy another one as our first one’s door supports broke due to over-use (not a dig at Innoteck), definitley worth the money. Can be a little pain to clean sometimes but I guess that’s all air-fryers after excessive use.

The product itself is very good. Cooks evenly. Chips come out nice when done in the rotatory. The negatives are: the drip tray peeled within 5 uses/washes. Its hard to pull the drip tray out without spilling oil/fat from the cooking because the door handle is too big. The window isn’t cleanable on the inside. The way the door was designed makes it to where any fat that spills on it from pulling the trays out during a meat turn over or removing the drip tray, just goes straight into the door itself. When the door is closed you can see everything you cant clean. Excellent product for cooking. Bad design.

Who doesn’t love an air fryer. This is our 2nd fryer from this company. We like it because in reality it’s an air oven, that is an excellent size for 2 people’s needs. The internal setup means you can get a medium whole chicken in it along with your roast potatoes (on a separate) shelf. It’s easy to use and cooks really well. Crisps up food nicely, so great for crispy snacks.

This is our third air fryer. The first, basket only, is kept in reserve for chips during family visits. The second (Tower) shelved unit lasted just over 3 years. Faults accrued, initially the sprung balls used to close the door wore a groove in the appliance necessitating an additional closure system using teasel tape, then the time and temperature LEDs failed but controls still worked for a while longer.
This unit seems more robust. It seems better at cooking, especially chips which are crisper. The dehydration function works well too.
I agree with other comments that the door is difficult to open and close. A tiny drop of cooking oil on the sprung has helped a little and I suspect that this appliance too will open more easily with continued use wearing a similar groove to the Tower but hopefully the door will continue to seal for a much longer period.
It’s early days but so far very pleased.

With three shelves that can be set a various levels and the options to use either a rotisserie or rotating basket it presents plenty of flexibility for cooking various foods. And it cleans very easily afterwards. There are plenty of presets for cooking and manual controls that are nicely displayed and easily set. I much prefer this over our previous, basket, model. It was also a cheaper option and looks nice. We are very pleased with everything cooked, so far.
I’d recommend an air fryer for economy, the taste of the food, speed and convenience. This one does the job.

I had never heard of this make before so was a bit wary about it as i had a popular brand previously. Anyway it seemed ok from the reviews so I went ahead and ordered it. I’ve got to say it’s a super Air Fryer, cooks everything that’s thrown at it to perfection. It’s easy to use doesn’t need much cleaning ans seems energy efficient. The only gripe I have with it is the door is quite stiff, you have to push against the top of the fryer when you pull on the door or you’ll pull the whole thing off the counter… Maybe it’ll ease off in time? Yes I would recommend it.

Have been able to cook a Sunday dinner for two, pizza, does great chips, breakfast rolls, Jacket potatoes, fish and chips with this. Cooks quickly I would say about 20 – 25 % quicker than an ordinary oven. I use it every day. Simple clean up. Wish it didn’t beep so much which does annoy sometimes (you can’t turn the beep off). Is reasonably quite. Happy with my purchase.

My integrated fan oven blew a week before Christmas. Great! I was getting confused with measurements and products and time was ticking, and frankly I could have done without the expense at that time of year. I happened to mention to my chef friend what had happened and she said ‘to be honest, I’m not sure I’d bother with a fan oven again, I use my air fryer all the time, it’s fantastic’. It made me look at air fryers in a new light. My problem was pizza. My 10 year old son was not going to be happy if he couldn’t have pizza from time to time and the drawer air fryers weren’t going to cut it. I started the search and came across this. The price was great, the reviews were great, and it had shelves for pizza! I went for it and I haven’t looked back.

Yes, it does a great job of pizza. I cut it into quarters and spread it across two of the shelves. A slightly smaller pizza will fit on one shelf (eg the San Marco ones). You need to bear in mind that the top shelf cooks quicker than the bottom two, but I just swap them around halfway through cooking. I didn’t want to leave a review until I had cooked a roast dinner, which I have done and it was a great success. I used the rotisserie for a joint of beef, seared it at 200C for 15 mins then reduced the temperature to finish it off. Once I removed the joint and covered it in foil for its resting period, I then put the shelves back in and cooked my parsnips, roasties, pigs in blankets and stuffing all at the same time, putting the ‘longer to cook’ items at the top. I finished off with the yorkshires that took about a minute. There was space for all of it and the joint of beef was enough to feed 5 people! The rotisserie was a little fiddly at first, but you soon get used to it and once it gets going it is so satisfying knowing how evenly cooked your joint is going to be. The downside was lack of meat juices, which I normally use for the gravy; they didn’t seem to appear anywhere in great quantity, certainly not enough for the gravy, but I improvised and all was well.

The next huge success was a McDonald’s type chicken nugget and fries meal. Wow. Every single time I have bought fries and tried to cook them in a fan oven I’ve failed in some way or another; they are more cooked/almost burnt at the ends, or not quite cooked enough – in other words, NEVER evenly cooked. The rotisserie basket with this machine does an awesome job! I perfected fries for the first time in my life and the chicken nuggets were perfect. I think that because the shelves are mesh, you don’t actually need to turn the nuggets halfway through. I did the first time but I could see they were a lovely golden brown underneath too and hadn’t needed turning. One very happy 10 year old son who confirmed his meal was as good as Maccie D’s. Lasagne has also been a success, as has everything else. I don’t bake cakes or sweet things so I can’t comment on those, but I find it hard to imagine this little machine can fail at anything.

I was intrigued to see if the beeps annoyed me, as mentioned in the other reviews, and another bugbear for others is the stiff door. The beeps beep 5 times and really, they don’t bother me at all personally. It’s a little flaw that they don’t stop when you open the door, but it’s not never ending as some suggest. The door is solid (good quality actually) with a heavy click rather than it being stiff, however I had it mastered quite quickly; it’s really very easy when you get used to it. I simply hook my fingers under the handle of the door, and then I just push my thumb against the fixed part of the fryer and it opens easily; you don’t need two hands at all.

This is the best kitchen gadget I have purchased and it’s excellent value for money. It’s my first air fryer and once this sees its final days, it won’t be my last. It’s so easy to clean – just whip the shelves/accessories out, all suitable for the dishwasher and wipe the oven clean. Needless to say I haven’t yet bothered replacing my fan oven, and I can’t recommend this model enough. It cooks things in a fraction of the time and I’ve never yet bothered to preheat anything; you can easily see how energy efficient it is. I included a video of my beef on the rotisserie. I attached it a little low, the rotisserie isn’t that jerky! You won’t regret this purchase. Enjoy!
