I have found that the detachable basket in this air fryer is much better than a rack, for cooking and for safety reasons, because racks can fall out when hot. It cooks to perfection and is very easy to use. It is energy efficient, large enough for a family and has multiple functions such as grilling and baking. I did have a problem detaching and reattaching the basket at first, but that’s more to do with my age than the product! Another plus factor is that it is vert easy to clean.

This has reinstated my faith in air fryers after the small TEFAL oven produced poor results. That came in what looked like a resealed box so have suspicions that may have been a return that got sent back out ?? This oven was well packed and is about the size of a normal microwave oven. I chose this oven as it has illuminated compartments and a clear window so you can see how things are progressing. The best part is you have two independent 4.5 litre air fryers in one unit. Last night I was baking two large baked potatoes in one oven and oven chips in the other at the same time. The food came out hot and perfect. After use its easy to clean due to the non-stick surface.
Given the fact its two decent sized ovens in one unit for under £69 (at the time of purchase) it represents very good value for money.

I’ve never heard of pure mate before, but this is the best air fryer I’ve bought so far, it’s cooks well, I do recommend this to anyone got a family of 4, I love the way you can watch how it food cook, it’s easy to clean out too

This is my 3rd air fryer, and the best one yet. I had a Tefal Actifry, but didn’t like the paddle as it limited what you could cook without breaking the food. I had another Tefal, but the non-stick coating quickly fell off. I was reluctant to buy an unknown name product, but after much research I was disappointed with all I was finding with named brands… and then I came across this one. I took a gamble due to the positive reviews, especially from people who have had it a while.
I can honestly say it is brilliant! I was worried about the white colour, as my black Tefals were hard to clean, but it is so easy to clean inside and out, and still looks brand new after 3 months. It is so easy to clean, the inside just wipes out with a soft soapy cloth.
Nice and roomy, can easily cook for my family in this. Basically, anything you can do in a fan oven, you can cook in an air fryer. I even tried some little buns in silicon cases, but a bit of trial and error over the timing. Everything cooks way quicker than in an oven, with no pre-heat time, so saving a fortune on electricity.
Our favourite is fish and chips, easy to do one person’s meal at a time if you want, frozen fish and chips cooked together in about 15 minutes. My husband likes a crispy jacket potato but it is costly to heat up an oven for one potato. I microwave one and then pop it in the fryer for about 10 minutes to crisp up.
It is easy to set the controls. It has a pre-set temperature and time, you just press the buttons to adjust the temperature and/or time down if you need. If you open the drawer, it remembers where it left off and continues with the cooking once you shut the drawer.
The pinger is really loud, but easy to hear it from another room!
I definitely recommend this air fryer. If you are unsure about whether to get one, or are looking to replace an old one, you will not be disappointed with this one.

I am new to air fryers. This was a relatively inexpensive air fryer so I am givng it 4 stars as I have only had it a few weeks. I am hoping that this will improve the quality of my ‘fast food’. So far I have cooked steak (no fat) which was excellent, fried sliced left over potatoes, lightly sprayed with oil, which were delicious and used frozen sweet potato chips which were good. I find the machine easy to use; it has a time dial and a temperature dial. So far, I find that it has been OK to wipe with a kitchen towel after use and only wash after a few uses. The size is good for 1 to 2 persons or chips for 4. My only gripe is that I have a small kitchen and I do not have a dedicated space on my worktop for it, Worth thinking about as I could see me not using it because I have to take it down from the shelf. Time to move on and try chicken breast and baked potatoes.
Aug 2023. After a few months when the machine only switched on after a little fiddling with the handle which looked like loose wiring problem in the handle /fryer connection, it gave up the ghost completely after just under 3 years of. use. It was a very good air fryer during that time and I am sorry that it is no longer working. I am sure it could be fixed but that is not really an option nowadays so I will replace it.

Have used this airfryer a few times now….its absolutely fantastic.
It was time to upgrade from my old 3.5l and get a bigger 1….I was specifically looking for a white one and seen this. Its looks really nice on my counter with the added bonus of windows so you can see the food cooking…saves opening the drawer as frequently to check on food.
I cant see my cooker being used as much now due to the large capacity. I actually find this machine relatively quiet and cooks food evenly and perfectly and crispy. Heats up to 200 degrees.
Excellent value for money in comparison to other brands and all the settings are so easy to use…I never even read the manual.
I’m very happy I chose this one and would definately highly recommend.
