In terms of build quality this stand mixer is pretty good, it’s plastic all over where possible, but looks fairly nice and sleek. The plastic body is really really good at showing food stains and fingerprints however so black might not be the best choice in hindsight. The tools themselves are metal, but they feel just a little too flimsy for my liking so if you’re making a thick dough they can struggle, I made a low hydration pizza dough as a really brutal test which was pushing it compared to my vintage Kenwood chef. The 5.5l stainless bowl does feel more than durable enough however, no complaints with that.
One thing this mixer does excel at is sound levels, it’s astonishingly quiet (especially compared to the kenwood). If you’re mixing something for a long time then you won’t be bothered from the other room. It’s also got suction feet on the base which means it won’t walk itself off the counter when moving at higher speeds, an important feature because of how lightweight it is compared to other heavier metal mixers.
Overall it’s a solid mixer, it does indeed work for whipping cream, mixing dough, making batter etc and it looks pretty nice, especially if you can match the body colour to your other kitchen counter items, but at £150 I think it’s a little steep given the build materials.

I’ve been using the Facelle Stand Mixer, 1500W Electric Kitchen Mixer, 10 Speeds Food Mixer with Pulse for a bit now, mostly for normal home baking, and my feelings are straightforward. It does what it says, but only within certain limits.
First impression out of the box was mixed. It looks nice and tidy and doesn’t take up much space, which I wanted. The bowl is listed as 5.5L, but in real use it feels on the small side. Fine for cakes, cream, eggs, and standard mixes. Less fine if you’re thinking about big batches of bread or pizza dough. It will do small doughs, but it’s clearly not a heavy duty machine.
Power wise, it’s better than I expected. The motor has enough strength for everyday baking, and the 10 speeds gives decent control. Lower speeds are useful for not covering the kitchen in flour, higher speeds whip cream quickly, and the pulse is handy when you want short bursts. It’s also quieter than I expected for a stand mixer, which I appreciate.
Stability is good. The suction feet work and stop it walking across the counter, even at higher speeds. The weight helps with that too, although it also means it’s not something I’d want to lift in and out of a cupboard all the time. I tend to leave it out.
The tilt head mostly works fine, but it doesn’t open very wide. Attaching the whisk or hook is okay, just a bit fiddly, and removing the bowl can feel slightly awkward. Not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying. Attachments themselves work as expected, though they don’t feel especially premium. They’re fine, just not confidence inspiring if you were planning to abuse them with heavy dough regularly.
Cleaning is easy. Bowl and attachments go in the dishwasher, and the splash guard helps keep things contained when adding ingredients. That part is genuinely useful.
So overall: good for everyday baking, good for small kitchens, works reliably, and doesn’t make a fuss. Just don’t expect it to replace a big, heavy, professional mixer. If you know what you’re buying and don’t push it beyond that, it does the job.

I received this stand mixer recently and have had the chance to try it out.
The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was how solid it feels. The housing has a sturdy build and the 5.5 litre stainless steel bowl is thick enough that it doesn’t feel flimsy when locked into the base. The tilt-head mechanism works smoothly and makes it easy to swap between the whisk, dough hook and beater without struggling to reach inside the bowl. Once the head is lowered and locked, the mixer feels stable and secure.
I mainly used it for typical home baking tasks such as mixing cake batter, whipping cream and testing a batch of bread dough. The 1500W motor provides plenty of power and the ten speed settings give good control depending on what you are mixing. Lower speeds work well for combining ingredients without flour flying everywhere, while the higher speeds are strong enough to whip cream quickly. The pulse function is also useful when you want short bursts of mixing without overworking the mixture.
One feature I appreciated is the suction cups on the base. They grip the worktop well and prevent the mixer from walking across the counter when running at higher speeds. The bowl size is also practical for normal household baking quantities and it doesn’t take up an excessive amount of space, which makes it a good fit for smaller kitchens where worktop space is limited.
Cleaning is straightforward as the whisk, beater and dough hook can go straight into the dishwasher. The included splash guard also helps keep ingredients contained when adding flour or sugar during mixing.
In terms of drawbacks, the main one is the price. It sits on the higher side for a mixer in this category, so it may feel like a bigger investment for occasional bakers. The unit also has a bit of weight to it, which helps with stability but means it’s not something you’ll want to move around constantly.
Overall, the mixer performs well for everyday baking tasks, feels well built, and offers enough power and speed control for a wide range of recipes. Despite the minor drawback, it feels like a reliable and well-made product.
