Always wanted one of these so when it came up for £99 on a prime day I leapt at the chance to try one. Love that it can be set to clean automatically and you can come home to a clean house (as long as the kids picked up all their toys!) Also fab that you can rename it in the app and Alexa will still be able to understand what your asking. ‘Tiberius’ is a fantastic little cleaner for his size and even gets edges better than expected. One less job for me to do and I’m here for it!

I bought this because I thought it had the mapping feature. It didn’t. I didn’t want it to begin with but my husband did. He did have it set up to be used daily but it can’t detect pet mess so we can only use it when home, I’m overstimulated when it’s in the same room as me. It’s great for pet hair, but I wouldn’t trust it if I wasn’t home either. It’s a dilemma but more a me issue than the product itself.

Very silent. Good value for money. Cleans well (we have a lot of pet hair, dust and sand). Easy to use. We have lots of tables and chairs which is not ideal for this vacuum cleaner (doesn’t map).

Gives a decent clean when you don’t have the time to do a proper vacuum clean. So far the robot often cannot find its way back home (to the charger) and will visit different rooms repeatedly in its search; the only time it made it home was when I closed the door to keep it in the room with the charger but it was several minutes roaming the room after announcing it was going home before it realised where home was. I may just resort to turning it off once it announces that it is going home as it is annoying hearing and seeing it search for home for so long. It’s not particularly loud but I couldn’t sleep through it vacuuming on the same floor, maybe if it was downstairs with doors closed.
The app guidance is poor regarding connecting to wifi, and apparently has been this way for years. I finally got the advice I needed to help me connect wifi from you tube (Simple Shaun) which was over 5 years old – why can’t the app information be improved? Nothing I did would result in the lights ‘staying on’ after pressing the power button for 3 seconds. The unit always turned itself off. Until Simple Shaun said to ignore this and just tick that it did what the app says it should do, so I could move onto the next step. Eufy should thank simple shaun as I was ready to send the thing back thinking it was faulty. I haven’t tried to use the app for anything like scheduling or adjusting vacuum settings. I would recommend this robot vacuum with the caveat that the app wifi instructions are not to be relied upon – seek help from you tube.

Battery time is rubbish. I use on the boost setting so it does use more power but it’s brand new so isn’t right that it only goes out for 30 minutes before it needs to recharge. My last Eufy that I had for 5 years lasted over an hour before recharging, and I kept that on the boost setting too! I only replaced my old model with this G50 model because the battery on my old one was becoming old and started heading home after 30 minutes. So really disappointed..

We bought the G50 based on the reviews and it looked very promising, so we decided to go ahead with the purchase. After the first few days, it started making a ticking noise and we couldn’t work out where it was coming from. I sent a video directly to Anker and received a response the same day. A couple of days later, they confirmed there was an issue.
They offered either a replacement or a refund. As the item wasn’t in stock at the time, I chose the refund option, which was back in my Amazon account within two days. I then bought the exact same model again through Amazon and it works perfectly — no ticking at all. It was clearly just a faulty unit, something they wouldn’t have known until it was purchased.
I honestly can’t fault the customer service. They responded quickly and provided a clear solution straight away.
Would I recommend the G50? 100% yes. It’s fantastic for the price, very quick, and the “find home” feature is far better than other models I’ve used in the past (from non-Anker brands).

Excellent hoover and very good value. Was recommended by my cousin for use by my elderly mother who lives in a flat and has trouble with unreliable cleaning ladies!! My mum is 96 and she uses it with ease and is able to put it back on its docking station to recharge with no problems. (The unit will find its own way back to the docking/recharge station IF there is enough space around the docking station – if not, you can manually move it back on to it). My cousin had visited a friend with this exact robotic vacuum cleaner, and said the friend normally has expensive, high end products but they’d decided to try out this EUFY one to see how it went, and were very surprised to find how good it was. My cousin then got one and then during a visit to my mother, recommended it to my mum. It can be used totally manually, so don’t worry if you see “controlled by an APP” if you don’t necessarily want to use the APP! It surprisingly gets into the corners and edges of carpets as these little brushes come out and sweep along. There is a satisfying amount of dust and debris that collects in the collecting tray (which is also very easy to remove, empty and replace) even if you thought your carpet was relatively clean!! A very good choice particularly for an elderly person but anyone really who doesn’t have the time, or the strength to push a hoover around. Just be aware that all leads and wires need to be completely out of reach and put away otherwise the EUFY could get tangled up – it is very persistent in climbing up small ridges and small height angles – reminds me of a tortoise on active sunny day!
