Why did you choose this product over others?:
Assumed Hotpoint was still a quality orientated company. Didn’t realise it was now Indesit.
Build quality:
Unfortunately the build quality wasn’t what I expected. This is how it arrived out of the packaging from Hotpoint.

Salad drawer access handle should be at top not low down.
Not as wide as previous larder fridge and less food shelves.

Item was delivered quickly, but when we unpacked it the fridge had a deep scratch on the side. As the packaging was not damaged I can only concluded that this happened before it was packed. I can not believe this was not noticed by the factory. Therefore it should have been sold as a factory second.

I should be clear that I didn’t buy this fridge from Amazon – but another retailer. Largely fairly pleased with it though it has an annoying hum. Presumably when the compressor is on. I was surprised to find it’s actually made in Turkey by Beko… when did Hotpoint stop being British?!
